Obituary of Edith May Miller

On January 1, 2023, Edith May Miller, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away. She was 97 years old.

May is survived by her three sons, Bud (Liz), Bob (Nancy) and Glenn (Darlene), grandchildren Jim (Katrina), Jennifer (Ricky Deamicis), Carly (Justin) Giesbrecht, Krista (Brent) McTavish and Dawson (Amber). May was deeply loved  by her 5 great grandchildren Thomas (Anna), Justin Jr, Jenna, Charlotte and Brady. May will be dearly missed by many extended family members and wonderful lifelong friends.

May was pre-deceased by her loving husband Ernie in 2001 after 57 years of marriage, her parents Sydney & Francis Ballard, and her brothers Leonard, Ray, Ken and Cecil.

May’s family is eternally grateful for the exceptional care provided to her by all of those at Dunrovin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 8th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at The Masonic Lodge, 514 Front St, Quesnel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the BC SPCA.
