I am so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I remember so well when you all would come to the farm with your truck camper to visit us at Watrous. Carolyn always had a smile on her face. I remember playing with Cathy and Karen at Gramma Habermehl's house and visiting all of you in Elkford and eventually Quesnel. My heart goes out to you Bob and Cathy and Karen and your families.

Carolyn a driving force in many ways. A wonderful colleague to work with; caring, flexible, professional,so supportive of children and staff. I always remember her courage driving herself off a mountain trail with a severely broken leg. Surgery was required and weeks of recovery. Then right back on a bigger better snow mobile. She was the sun her close family revolved around. A wonderful person to have known who touched many lives with love.

Both Dick and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Carolyn‘s passing! Our thoughts are with Bob, Karen and family, and Cathy and family. We will always remember our time teaching together at Red Bluff. Carolyn was an amazing teacher and we learned so much from teaching side by side with her! We were always so impressed when she would arrive at work and had already baked bread, made cookies and done laundry, all before 8:00 in the morning! Our family loved our times with Carolyn and family getting rides on their snowmobile’s! Carolyn loved to cook and we still make her overnight buns! You will miss your wife, mom and Grandma forever but we hope that the wonderful memories you have of her will help ease some of your pain during this very difficult time.

Carolyn became my friend through walking the Riverfront Walk with Hilda Murray & Gayle Den Otter many years ago. In more recent years we would see each other in the grocery store & catch up on each other's lives. She will be missed. My condolences to all of her family.

I am so saddened to hear of Carolyn’s passing. She was an incredible individual, so organized, helpful, kind and energetic. It was my pleasure to teach with Carolyn years ago and I learned so much from her as she was always willing to help and share ideas. Although it was usually raspberry picking season when we would get together, I will miss that time . She loved her family fiercely. I know how much you will miss her ♥️My condolences to the family - Marla
