Obituary of Donna Jean Murdock

Donna Jean Murdock  (Nee Fossum)

Donna was Born and raised in Pouce Coupe, B.C. and she went to school in Thoms Lake B.C.

She  met Samuel Jarvis and they Married in 1958 and  lived in Pouce for a while. Their first Born Randall was born in 1959 and when he was a toddler they moved to Melbourne Manitoba. They lived with  

William and Hazel Jarvis until they could by their own farm where they had a second son Lloyd in 1961 and a Daughter Edythe in 1964 who were both born in Carberry Manitoba. Continued to live there until the mid 70's.

She moved to B.C. And got remarried to Bill Sheard in 1978.

She kept herself busy by baking and working in restaurants. She was involved in the Pentecostal church. 

She took her YWAM training and then went to Guatemala and did Missionary work there.

Years passed and eventually she moved to Fort St James BC where she was involved in the church and helped in the soup Kitchen where she met Richard Murdock and they were married in 1998. They lived in a cabin on 5 acres until a cancer scare took them to the Kootenays to a hospital in a bigger center.  When she was cancer free they moved to Quesnel BC.  She spent the last couple of years in Dunrovin Park Lodge with Dementia she had wonderful care there until her passing. 

Donna was predeceased by her husband Richard Murdock,  Father Gordon Fossum, her Mother Mildred Fossum and her Brother (Butch) Gordon Fossum.  

 

She left behind her:

Sister:       Cheryl (nee Fossum) Daily (Micky) 

Children:   Randall Jarvis (Patricia (nee Durban)

                 Lloyd Jarvis   (Jaenette Hiddink)

                 Edythe (nee Jarvis) Chartrand (Christian Chartrand) 

She also had 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
