Obituary of Henry Loureiro

We regret to announce the passing of our dad Henrique “Henry” Loureiro.

Henry was born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal on September 3rd, 1959 and passed away in Quesnel, BC on May 2nd, 2024 at 64 years of age.

Henry was a long-term employee of West Fraser QPly, retiring in 2023. In his spare time, he was an avid bargain hunter and loved a good garage sale. His faith was also a large part of his life.

Henry was predeceased by his parents Manuel and Ilda and his brother Armando. He is survived by his two children Nicole (Derek) and Eric (Alyssa) as well as a nephew, nieces and other extended family.

There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, June 15th at St. Ann’s Catholic Church (100 Sutherland Ave) starting at 11:00am followed by a procession to Tranquility Gardens for interment.

A Memorial Tea will take place after the interment (12:30pm) at the Legion Hall.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Henry to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
