Such a lovely tribute to an amazing woman. The world lost a beautiful spirit, an artist, a musician, a generous, funny, giving woman, and we are left with our memories.
Brenda first welcomed me into her home and her family when Kenton took me to visit for Thanksgiving at their beautiful home in Astoria, Oregon. Daniel and Brenda were in the middle of installing a new kitchen floor, but Brenda still prepared the most beautiful, delicious Thanksgiving dinner. I soon came to learn that this was her nature. No matter which home we visited, we were welcomed with open arms and treated like the most special of guests. And when the family came to visit us, Brenda always brought laughter, fun and creative, imaginative gifts. I look around our home today and there are reminders of her wonderful spirit everywhere, and they bring me joy in this year of so much loss - how like you, Brenda. I miss you.
