Hey Dad,
It’s taken me this long to do this, but you know I’ve talked to you pretty much every day since you left. Sometimes with a smile, most often with a few tears. I can still hear your guiding voice, for which I’ll always be grateful. I’m so glad we got all the minutes we did.
Love Robert.

Walter we will miss your visits here. You always had a coffee, a story, and laughter for us. You were a big teddy bear of a man whose love for his wife Deborah, family, friends and community was very evident. You treated my parents with respect and I will be eternally grateful for it. I know you are rocking heaven with your gentle spirit. Till we meet again.

Hope there is a big comfy chair by that campfire for me Uncle Walter, I will always cherish my memories of that part of Canada I only know because of you, I met many lifelong friends there all because of you, best times of my life and it changed the course of my life, thank you

So sorry for your loss Deb and to the family as well .
We had great conversations Walter and I even though they were short ones while cleaning his room. We laughed as well even though he was in pain.
May cherish memories help you and your family through this difficult time. Big hugs to you all

Our very deepest sympathies to Deborah and the family. We are blessed to have had Walter in our lives…from those marathon quadding adventures to all the transport of equipment for repair. He will be missed.

My dad loved his family, his little white dog Penny his chair that had to be replaced ( he never did get used to the new one) his quadding group and sticking his tongue out whenever a camera was close by. . Dad was the best grandpa and he was happy to teach the kids whatever he was working on wether he was doing some woodworking or puttering in the yard. There is a daddy size hole in my heart and spices in my fridge where they shouldn’t be but he’s pain free now and up in Heaven where I will see him again someday
