James D. McAstocker
April 2nd 1934 – March 10th 2023
The family of James (J.D.) McAstocker sadly announce his passing on March 10th 2023.
Jim was born and raised in Penticton B.C. and moved to Quesnel in 1951. He worked at the sawmills in and around Quesnel. He hauled logs for many years, mostly in the Quesnel area, until he retired in 2004.
Jim loved fishing, boats and always had a special love for aviation. He was a handyman “fix-it “ kinda guy.
He is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Tara ( Andrew ), son Curtis ( Laura ) grandchildren Hunter, Kaleb, Raya, Sam and two sisters Liz ( Dave ) and Noreen ( David ) and many nieces and nephews.
