I was so sorry to get this news and send our best to Ida Mays beautiful family. This news brought back many memories of our girl friendship when we were “youngin’s”. We were next door neighbours while growing up and I have to smile at remembering our many antics❤️ I attach a couple of photos - Grade 1, graduation and “the hat” ❤️

Joanne and I were greatly saddened to learn about the loss of Aunt Ida May. For us, when we called my Uncle Stan to see if he would be home for a visit when were up there with our kids, Devin and Deanna on the way Barkerville. When we got to their house she was right there, with the biggest smile on her face. We were welcomed in such warmth and hospitality! It was a great experience..
To make a long story short, she was a wonderful person and a great lady who will greatly missed. Larry, Joanne, Devin and Deanna Feuer

Ida May was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. She will always be fondly remembered by all the "Oryall" cousins.
Sincerest condolences to all the Kohl/Phoenix family - my heart is broken over this loss of someone so special to you all.

I had the privilege of working with Ida May when I was the principal at Correlieu. She was my guide on the side, who helped me navigate the challenges of the school. She gave so much to me and I never knew how to giver due. You will missed by everyone.

I had the pleasure of working with Ida May at Correlieu. Us East Coasters use the term, “salt of the earth” to describe a person of substance. Ida May was the salt of Correlieu. She was competent, unflappable and kind. I wish the family much strength and offer my deepest condolences.

lda May was an amazing person who welcomed us into her family when our daughter married her son Ryan. She was always there to include us in all family gathering if we were visiting in Quesnel. We had such a love for our grandsons and shared many
hours talking about good memories of them. She was an amazing quilter and made me more motivated to improve my quilting, giving me tips and advice. a truly nice and caring person and she will be missed by all. Our love and thoughts to Stan and the families. RIP lda May. l;m sure quilts will be made in heaven with lda May;s stamp on them.

We will cherish this amazing blanket even more and I think of her while tucking in JR. each night. Each time I recall a memory I can feel the warmth of kindness and belonging I always felt in her presence.
