Obituary of Edna Langley
Edna was born October 8, 1922 to Jack Wilkinson and Beatrice Barnum in the Bouchie Lake area of Quesnel. She was the sixth of seven children for this pioneering family, and she called Quesnel home all her life.
Together with her husband Bert Langley, they raised three children. Her creativeness and skill as a seamstress provided the family with many treasures.
She is predeceased by her husband Bert, her parents, her siblings, and her daughter Dee Hall (Jack). She is survived by her children Ray Langley (Lynne) and Debbie Schonke (Cliff), as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She passed away quietly with her loving family at her side after achieving her goal of reaching 100 years. The family is very grateful for the many years of care provided by Dr. Van Dyk and Fab, the six years of loving support she received while at Maeford Assisted Living, and the compassionate attention she received from the staff of GR Baker Hospital, Third Floor, during her final days.
A private service was held at Tranquility Gardens.
