Obituary of Emil Moses Eyford

EMIL MOSES EYFORD, age 95, of Quesnel BC departed this life on July 11 2022 at GR Baker Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.

He was born to the late Sigurbjorn (Barney) and Maril Eyford, on the family farm in Grosmount, Alberta, on Nov 10 1926.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Lawrence, Jerry, Anna, Bid Lil and infant sister Mary. He was the last of his family.

Emil had many amazing adventures though out his life as a fisherman, soldier, fire chief, town counsellor in Hay River, NWT, highways foreman, justice of the peace, Logger, truck driver, rancher and business owner, in the end regardless of his doings, he was the best father and grandfather our family could ask for.

Emil is survived by his wife of 75 years Faye (roe) Eyford, his three sons, Robert, Roy and Bill and daughter Connie, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends and family to mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be at Bethel Church on Coach Road, at 11 am on Friday July 22 2022.
