I had the pleasure of being friends with Joe for many years, as we both worked at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. I really miss having Joe around, because he always made me laugh. He loved to joke around and have fun. Joe was a neighborhood hero, he always looked out for people, and would help out anyone that needed him whenever he could. He was never short on energy or enthusiasm, and he had a way of motivating others. Joe didn't have much, but he was always happy to share whatever he had. I believe that Joe's favorite hobby was sharing with others! One of Joe's favorite drinks was London Fog, and he always said "Nobody can make it like Zoe's Java House downtown", where Joe became a regular customer and friend. Joe was never afraid to speak his mind, but he was a very kind and caring person. I pray that one day I will get to see Joe again, because I really miss my dear friend.
Joe's remains were cremated, and his final resting place is in the Mausoleum at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Prince George, BC.
