Obituary of Louie Sallai
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Louie Sallai, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 76.
Louie was born in Leask, Saskatchewan on August 8, 1944, one of twelve siblings to Arthur and Esther Owens.
He married the love of his life Monica in 1977. Louie spent many years working in the logging industry. Louie enjoyed being outdoors going on adventurous quad rides with friends, building trailers, playing cards and being Mr. Fix It. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be sorely missed, never forgotten and always cherished.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Monica, daughter Louise (Paul Hupka), granddaughter Alyssa (Brad), two great grandsons, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Elbira and the nurses at GR Baker Hospital for their devoted care. We would like to thank everyone for their calls and kind condolences. Thanks also to Clayton’s Funeral Home for their care and attention.
At Louie’s request there will be no service.
