I first met Gus about 1975 when I went to Quesnel rodeo as a contestant. I would fly there on occasion and bring a couple of guys with me to compete. Gus always had someone pick us up if he didn't. Later my wife Kimeal and I would go to Quesnel as a judge and timer. Kimeal always loved Anita and Gus, called Gus the handsome "ole toad". He was so pleasant to work with, he was a great committee guy and was an advocate to the BCRA. It seems like we never did know when Gus was not there for that rodeo and the community of Quesnel.
If there was a hall of fame for being a great guy, Gus would have been the first inductee.
Rest quietly Gus Cameron..
