Obituary of Irene Clark

It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Clark announce her passing on August 20^th at the age of 98.

Irene leaves behind her Son Norm (Diane), Daughter Marge (Meredith), Son Ray (Marie), Son Doug (Christine), Daughter Janet (Doug), Son Don (Margaret), and her Son Tommy (Jodi).

Mom was born in Lafond, Alberta and was one of 10 children.  She met our Dad, Tom Clark in Lafond where they later married in 1943.  They raised their family for some time in Lafond and then later in the Longview, Alberta area.   In 1957 Mom and family moved to the Quesnel area (Australian) and had 2 more children. 

Mom loved all the gatherings we had as a large family every summer.  She loved getting to meet and see all her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren.  We will always remember Mom’s wonderful homemade bread and all of the delicious soups she loved to make.  She was an amazing homemaker.  She was so loved and will be so missed.  The Clark family would like to send a thanks to all the Staff at Maeford Place for all the care they gave to our Mom.  We always knew that our Mom was in great care there.
