Obituary of Jeannie Kodiak
With great sadness the family of Jean Kodiak announce her passing on June 12, 2020 at the age of 95.
She was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and immigrated to Canada at the age of two, she was raised and went to school in Moose Heights, Quesnel.
Jean worked outside the home most of her life, when she retired from Super Valu, she threw herself into volunteering (mostly at the Legion) until her late eighties.
She lived independently in her own home, drove a stick shift car till she was 95 and only recently moved to Fraser Village where she enjoy watching the hub of Quesnel from her window. Her sense of humor and sharp mind never wavered.
She was predeceased by her husband Leon, her daughter Heather, her sons Melvin and Mikeal and her grandson Todd. Jean is survived by son Ben, daughters Sally, Susan and Cindy and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was So Loved.
