Roxienne Suzanne Prestone (Cody)

November 25^th 1941 – November 20^th 2019

Predeceased by Parents Elmer & Irma Cody, Sister Patricia, Brother Rod & Nephew Laurence

   First and foremost Roxienne was loved and showed love to many people, which she believed was a reflection of The Father’s love for she is a daughter of the most high God. She loved Jesus and worshipped Him as a saviour, redeemer and Lord. She believed in eternal life and prayed that you all would find the same assurance, the same peace, the same love she had. That you would know God’s love and seek His redeeming power and be with her forever in eternity (something she firmly believed in).

   Roxienne was an amazing daughter, sister, cousin, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great friend to many. However one of the things that certainly defined her was a natural God given ability to teach. She went from high school in Quesnel to teaching north of Prince George at the tender age of 17 and taught until 4 years ago at the age of 73.

   The last 20 plus years she taught school, three hours north of Whitehorse, in the small community of Destruction Bay, Yukon. Then went on to retire here in Quesnel at the family farm in Alexandria, where her love for teaching continued with Sunday school here at Northstar church. Here a new group of kids had the privilege of witnessing her love for God in action while being blessed by her teaching and wisdom.

   Roxienne was predeceased by her husband Joel.  She is survived by a full, loving, passionate, wonderful, incredible family & friends far too numerous to mention today.

We love you Roxienne.

A Memorial Service for Roxienne will be held at Northstar Fellowship Baptist Church, Saturday November 23rd, 2019 at 1:00 PM.

Reception to also take place there immediately following the service.
