I'm so sorry to hear of Lucy's passing. She had a beautiful spirit that radiated total love for her family, contentment in life, and a constant generosity toward others. Even though we didn't see much of each other since our "Mackenzie days", on rare events we'd always share a hug and comfortable conversation. Lucy was one of the most authentic women I've ever met. My sincere condolences to all of Lucy's family and friends.

John ,Georgie and Emily. I am so sad to hear of Lucy's passing. Your family especially Lucy was such a part of my family especially Megan's life when we lived in Mackenzie. She was one of a kind,
, full of happiness (always smiling) and cared for so many others. Although we have not kept in touch I will never forget how she impacted our lives in Mackenzie. Big hugs to all of you. Emily and Georgie I know you will carry all those special traits your Mom had in you. Very special. She will watch over many

I was so very saddened to hear of Lucy’s passing. I remember her with so much fondness from her days living here in Mackenzie. I loved that no matter what was going on, Lucy continued to smile and her inner light shine. She was so interested in others and had a great sense of humour. Lucy took a picture of my daughter Simone at the playground when she was around 6 or 7 years old and gave it to me. It is a photo that I have always cherished and to this day remains on my desk at work. Lucy went on to take the best family photos that we ever had done; maybe that was because she related so well to people and brought the best out of them. She was talented, full of life, loved her family fiercely, and will be so very missed. With deepest condolences to all her family and friends.

Extremely sadden at the loss of this beautiful women. Lucy was the type of person that everyone should have had the opportunity to know. I met Lucy while living in Mackenzie and often wondered what amazing things she was up to once we lost touch after moving from Mackenzie. I had the opportunity of catching up with Lucy in the most random spot. My spouse and I spent the day on a little hike South of Quesnel and right there in the middle of the bush, we had to pass each other on a narrow path and I can’t tell you how excited I was to catch up with her. Lucy was so proud to be able to introduce her granddaughter to us and talk about how much our girls have grown. John, Georgie and Emily no words can take away the sadness I know you are feeling, but your wife, mother and grandmother was very much loved by many of us and she touched so many lives without even really knowing it. Much love being sent your way.

My sincere condolences to Georgie Massong, Emily Massong I may have the names spelled right as well as members of Lucie's family whom I have been unfortunate to meet as of yet. Let us not forget Mr. Johhny Ireland & Sweet baby
Bridjette. Johnny struggled to be away from his family (his girls) but had to hold the fort for a lack of better words!
Johnny understood Georgie & Bridjette were exactly where they needed to be.
With her mom to spend time together and be around a family who is filled with love.
I know this from Georgie.
I sure wish I would have met Lucy aje sounds like she was a wonderful beautiful person inside and out!
Our heart are with all of her loved ones.
Love

In Loving Memory of Lucy
I will miss seeing Lucy and her best friend on the riverwalk. She would sometimes be looking for special rocks for her garden, or taking photos. Lucy would always give a big smile and say Hi. A very special lady.

My friend, beautiful, loving, helping me now even after she has left to fly with her angel friends!! Helping me recognize my own truths by unabashedly recognizing her own.
We have been blessed, we continue to bless those around us because of friends like Lucy.
To all her family and loved ones, many of whom I have met, I offer you the love and joy she brought me, by sharing it with all the people I meet. I acknowledge how beautiful and strong you have become because of her.
Recognizing how much more intelligent and wise so many of the clients she served, how the rest of the staff at Green Tree benefitted from her being alive there at work is love.
She is never gone in the end, as the love she shared is eternal.
In peace and joy, the loss we feel is outweighed by the joy and peace shared.

What an amazing woman. I remember being in her Speech arts class at Mac 1 and facing my fear of the stage reciting "Hope is a thing with feathers " by Emily Dickinson. She was always there to help and guide you. I will always remember her smile and hugs when i would run into her over the years. She was such a loving and special woman. she will be missed by so many.

This world simply needs more people like Lucy. She filled every room she entered with so much positive energy and love. She gave everybody the time of day to talk about anything like gardening, community interests, art, music, you name it. She was so well rounded and knowledgeable in everyday life skills, some of her knowledgeable which I am grateful for learning. Lucy was not only a mother to my wife Emily and sister in law Georgie, but she was like a mother to me.. she homed me and cooked for me when i first moved to Quesnel in the spring of 2018 before my wife came in the fall. I am grateful we were able to be closer to home for the last year.. Lucy will be remembered by many far and wide. My condolences to John, Emily and Georgie.. she did an amazing job raising two wonderful daughters.
Her spirit lives within all of us now.
May she rest in peace.
