It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsy Pawluk, of Quesnel, BC, on June 24th, at the age of 87.

Elsy was born February 7, 1932 to parents Wilhelm and Minna Poggemoeller, in Vernon, BC. 

Elsy was predeceased by her husband, Nick Pawluk; sisters Sofie, Hilda, Teresa, Lily, Karoline; brother, Bill; grandson, Darren; and granddaughter, Chelsy. 

Elsy is survived by her sisters, Ruth & Gerty; brothers, Ernie & Norman; daughters, Rachel (Chuck), Janet (Keith); son, George (Sharon); grandchildren, Dustin (Kristine), Chad (Kiley), Crystal, Lee (Margaret), Tyler, Taraneh, Eric (Taylor), Jamie, Jordan (Jake); great grandchildren, Haley, Ashley, Emily, Brennan, Tre, Nyomi, Alyssa & Brett, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Tranquillity Gardens. A tea will follow at the Quesnel Legion Hall at 12:30 p.m.
