My God Mother and Aunt Shirley. I never got to see you often but I still have memorable fond visions in of head of our times together. The earliest being Riske Creek and riding my Tricycle around. I remember the smell of the store. I remember the horses. At your home in Quesnel, I tried roasted goose for the first time. It was pretty damn tasty. Most recently all the dirty jokes we exchanged throughout the years. Emailing each other as our way of staying in contact. It would always be an exciting pleasure to open them as they always made me laugh. I truly believe that most people would shake their heads at some of these jokes but not us. We laughed many times with our same sense of humor. Our condolences to my Uncle Ordando, Cousins Lana, Arlene and their families. People that touch our lives bring us to tears when we think of them right after their passing. Over time these memories turn from tears to warm heart filled smiles as we remember. We will always remember. Aunt Shirley, may your body rest in peace and your powerful soul fly high. I know it will. Love from Darren, Sherri, Justin and Tyler.
