Obituary of Ray Taylor

We say goodbye to our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Cousin, Uncle, & Papa.. 

Raymond William Hunter Taylor

 

Ray was born in Quesnel, B.C. and left our world on November 1st, 2018 in Blackfalds, A.B. after a short and fierce battle with kidney cancer at the age of 64. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Bill & Doreen Taylor; step-sons, Robert Sholty & Kevin Clauson; and cousin-in-law, Judy Taylor.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; sons, Scott (Morgan)Taylor and Keith (Joanne)Aiken; step-son, Shaun Clauson;

Grandchildren, Hunter, Vayda, Sierra, & Kamryn. 

Also left to mourn is his sister, Annette (Gord) Manning & family; his very close cousins Bob (Judy)Taylor & family, Arlene (John) Kostiuk, and from Vancouver area,

Renae Taylor, and Rick Kreiger; many special nieces and nephews. As well, Ray leaves behind brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws,

and close friends & co-workers who miss him dearly.

He will be remembered for many crazy antics, the twinkle in his eye, a grin on his face, love of fishing, taking care of family, spoiling his pets, feeding the birds,

enjoying the water, and sitting in the smoke of a campfire.

Ray was cremated in Lacombe, AB and has been interned in the beautiful Tranquility Gardens in Quesnel, BC.

 

Thanks to Clayton's Funeral Services, Quesnel Bakery, Eiffel Flowers, and all who came out for Ray's Celebration of Life. 

Those who came in your retro cars/trucks.. that was a very special touch. It was all so appreciated by our family and I am sure brought a smile to Ray's face.
