Obituary of Diane Ruth Bissett

It's with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Bissett on the morning of March 6th, 2019, in G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital, at the age of 62.  Diane passed peacefully in her sleep after fighting a brave battle with pancreatic cancer, beating the time they gave her. She remained strong through this battle, concerned about everyone else. 

She was the most caring and loving wife, mother, nana, sister and friend. She leaves behind her husband, Larry Bissett, daughter, Melanie (Sean) Sheimerdine and their four children, Araya, Paris, Ivory and Eden. Daughter Misty (Caleb) Fraser, their children, Cassidy, Ciera, Deklan and Paysle. Mother and Stepfather, Mabel and Dan Evans. Sister and Brother, Janice and Frank Bennett, along with many neices and nephews. 

We would like to thank Dr. Alhaddad for his wonderful care. The chemo nurses, when she was doing chemo, for their kindness. Also the wonderful nursing staff at G.R. Baker Memorial during her final two and a half weeks, for their wonderful care and compassion for her family.
