Obituary of Leslie Rose Griffin

A graveside service for Leslie will be held at Quesnel & District Municpal Cemetery on Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at 10:00 AM. 

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leslie Rose Griffin (nee Hargreaves) announce her passing.

After a lengthy battle with lung cancer, Leslie passed away at GR Baker Memorial hospital in Quesnel on Saturday October 20, 2018, at the age of 69.

Following cremation, the family will hold a memorial at a future date.

Leslie is survived by her loving husband Erik; son Rick (Lisa), and daughter Sheri (Tim); grandchildren Ryan, Kylie, Cole, and Jordan.   Leslie was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Robert Hargreaves, as well as two brothers, and one sister. Leslie also leaves behind three surviving sisters.

Leslie was born on June 1, 1949 in Quesnel, BC to Lillian and Robert Hargreaves.  She married Erik in Quesnel on October 21, 1966.   After raising her children, Leslie spent much of her career in silviculture in the Quesnel area.

Leslie enjoyed spending time with family and good friends, country music, cooking, spending time in her yard gardening and with her dogs.  Leslie was the eldest sibling in the family and took great care of her parents in their later years.  She enjoyed going to garage sales with her Dad.

Leslie will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
