Obituary of Marilee Lloyd

Born September 30, 1937 in Burns Lake, BC, the family sadly announces Marilee's passing on November 30, 2019, in Quesnel, BC.

She is survived by her brother, Jack; four children Ken (Laurie), Wes, Velma (Peter) and Val (Kent); grandchildren Tanya (Micheal), Pam (Alex), Tristan (Danielle), Chelsea (Brennan), Wesley, Amie (Kurtis), Keenan (Christina), Shelby (Sheldon), Emme Jo (Kirtus) and great grandchildren Nolan, Miles, Arlo, Oliver, Emersyn, Maddison, Chase and Emmett.

As it is with all our lives, if she put her story to print it would have been a best seller.

Heartfelt thanks to her friends, as they made her final years as comfortable as possible.

A Memorial tea for Marilee will be held on Saturday, December 14th at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall at 1:00 pm

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Quesnel Legion.

She is Gone

You can shed tears that she is gone,
Or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
Or you can be full of the love that you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she is gone,
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what she would want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.....

...Til we meet again

Those wishing to honour Marilee’s memory by way
of donation, may do so to the
