Marie "Laura" Marcoux

December 12, 1925 ~ May 11, 2019

It is with sadness that the family of Laura Marcoux announce her passing on May 11, 2019 at Dunrovin Park Lodge.

Laura was born in Bonnyville, Alberta in 1925 and spent her first 42 years there. After living briefly in Fort McMurray, her and her husband, Orphila, moved to Kamloops with their daughter, Louise. After Orphie's passing, they moved to Quesnel, where Laura spent her remaing years. 

She loved embroiderey, knitting and gardening. She was a hard worker and will be missed dearly by her daughter, Louise, son-in-law, Jim, sister, Therese as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. 

Laura was predeceased by her husband, Orphila Henry Marcoux; parents, Theodore and Clarina Blais; and siblings, Harvey, Albert, Andre, Cecile and Germaine.
