Obituary of Brian Joseph Cullinane

The Cullinane family would like to express their deepest thank you to Brian’s friends, colleagues and the Quesnel community as a whole for the unwavering support the past week.  Our beloved Brian is gone but his spirit, kindness, respect, and love will be with us, always.   

Brian’s heart and soul belonged to his family, but he shared it with his friends, colleagues and students.  With that in mind, the Cullinane family has proudly decided that Brian’s legacy here in Quesnel will be a monetary award. Which is to be given out each year to a graduating student in the Quesnel school district starting with the 2020 class. 

The Brian Cullinane Legacy Award will be given to one graduating student each year through the SD28 Scholarship and Bursary Awards Booklet.  This award will be based solely on the students character as exemplified by Brian.  Trust, respect, humour, loyalty and friendship.  Each year Brian sat on the Scholarship and Bursary committee as the Vice Principal of Correlieu.  He took great pride in his students and took the selection process and his students futures very seriously.   

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be given to this award in Brian’s name, So that his legacy can be remembered for many years to come.
