The Family of Todd Oppen sadly announce his recent passing.

A memorial service will be held for Todd at Clayton's Event Hall on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM. A reception to be held at a private residence immediatley folloing the service.

It is never easy to say good-bye, but it is important. Todd Oppen meant so much to us. It’s hard to put into work how much Todd will be missed and what a positive impact he had on each of us.

Todd was born in Quesnel BC on September 26, 1964. He spent his time and was known for loving the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gold panning, and building things. Todd grew up having a really close relationship with his family and is survived by his daughter (Summer), sisters (Iona, Veronica, Rena), brothers (Sam, Darwin).

I know each of you are very saddened by Todd’s passing. As we grieve together, I want to highlight what made him so special. If I had to use three words to describe Todd, I would say: Kind, Funny, Honourable. I am sure each of you could add lots more as I know you experienced Todd’s love in a special way.

As you may know, Todd loved others deeply and enjoyed each moment he got to spend with his daughter.

He was also passionate about sharing his knowledge of the outdoors and caring for his animals.

In the work realm, Todd was known for carpentry. He could build anything he set his mind on.

Todd was special. Todd mattered. Todd was here and made a powerful impact on many of our lives. I admire the way he lived and loved. I especially admired his generosity. We will miss Todd so much. May we all continue to love deeply and may the gift of love from Todd, forever remain a part of us.
