Obituary of Reginald Hugh Shanks

Former Port Hardy resident Reginald Hugh Shanks passed away Dec 10th, 2021 in Quesnel B.C after a short illness. Affectionately known as Hugh, he was born on November 12th, 1945. Hugh was the 4th boy in a family of 6 boys and 1 girl, and grew up in Sidney, B.C.

Hugh was multi-talented, as shown by his woodworking skills, holding a Journeyman electricians license, having a pilots license as well as his being a fantastic gardener and musician. Family was everything to Hugh.  

He enjoyed spending time with his children and passing his knowledge onto his grandchildren."
